At the Mansions & Millionaire’s Holiday Seats & Settings Show which ran from November thru December 2008 at the Mill Neck Manor, Karen Arpino won the award for Best Representation of a Character. This appeared in “The Boulevard” magazine Feb/March 2009 issue

“Distinction” Magazine ran this story about the Designers Showcase’ 08 at Mill Neck Manor. In this Master Bathroom Karen Arpino Interiors designed the window treatments, lighting , mirror, accessorizing, furnishings and faux painting for Tile By Design.

Designers Showcase’ 09 run by Mansions & Millionaire’s at La Selva in Upper Brookville, Long Island. This small elegant sitting room, originally part of the servant’s wing, is a cozy warm, inviting place to read, watch TV, and relax. Warm jewel tones, opulent fabrics, and lots of accessories make this a personal retreat.

Holiday Mansions Seats & Settings Show—November thru December 2008 Karen Arpino designed this prize winning vignette around the character Scarlett O’Hara of “Gone with the Wind” The table and chairs, and all accessories were designed to look like Scarlett herself, in her dark green velvet and to have the look and feel of the late 1800’s.

Mill Neck Manor –Designers Showcase 2008 Karen Arpino Interiors provided the lighting, window & shower treatments, furnishings, mirror and all accessorizing in the master bathroom for Tile by Design.
